Whenever I'm asked what my photography style is, the words: non performative, presence centered, and film focused (offering more film than the typical hybrid approach) come to mind. But the honest truth of it is, that my style is very dependant on my subjects. Some of my couples are reserved, and show their love in quiet ways like grazing their fingers together under a table, or a soft kiss on the forehead. While others are loud about their love, with unabashed public affection and constant outward demonstrations of their joy. I can't approach one wedding the same as the last, because I learn about my couples in a way that makes that impossible. Every single wedding is documented in a way that is meaningful to the people getting married, a process that takes conversation and connection.
